Spain’s Sener won a design contract for Saudi Arabia’s planned Landbridge railway network after Saudi Railway Co. (SAR) tendered the project in 2025 and evaluated bids through the end of the year, MEED reported.
Initial design work had been prepared by Italferr S.p.A., with the project now in an advanced planning phase as the new contract progresses engineering concepts and detailed designs.
