Saudi Arabia has declared the date Eid will take place on for worshippers. Eid ul Fitr or Eid-al-Fitr, is one of the two main holidays in the Islamic calendar.
According to astronomers in Saudi Arabia, the sky is too cloudy for the sighting of the moon tonight, therefore Eid will take place on Wednesday (April 10)
Chief Astronomer Abdullah Khudairi said: “It is not possible to see the crescent today but we will perform the Sunnah and view it at 6:15pm.”
