The colossal King Salman International Airport in Riyadh, currently under construction, is expected to take shape as the biggest airport in the world when finished in 2030. According to the General Authority of Civil Aviation of Saudi Arabia, the airport will span over 57 square kilometres, featuring six massive, parallel runways, recreational facilities, residential units, and 12 km-wide retail space.
